After my last update, we spent the morning at the beach in Tela, which was crowded with Hondurans visiting for Semana Santa. Food carts and vendors were plentiful and the caribbean water was divine.

We sprung for an air conditioned bus inland to Copan Ruinas, which makes up for the increase in gringos with cobblestone streets, grilled meats, and charm. Today, we visited the ruins and our guide, Juan, gave us an informative and pleasant tour.

Tonight we are enjoying the nightlife and have discovered a cafe which gives refills on cafe. We will take advantage of the street carts and rest easy at the Hotel Calle Real before heading to Santa Rosa de Copan tomorrow.

Hasta luego!
